Summer in Arizona is much like Winter in other places, not the time to be outdoors much. So our best playing times are fall, winter, and spring, and our schedule reflects as such. Where else can you get 75-
Our volleyball season starts in late September and finishes when temperatures get ridiculous, in the summer most of our teams are playing in the AVP qualifiers and in CA. In 2007, 23 AZBVA male and female players competed in at least one AVP Qualifier Event, with 5 AZBVA tourney competitors playing in main draws (Rico Becker, Tyler Hildebrand, Ryan Mariano, Ed Ratledge, & Ty Tramblie)
Hopefully this season we can prepare even more guys for the AVP events.
