Arizona Volleyball will soon have this process automated, but in the meantime click here to send us an email. This is a King & Queen of the Beach event, so you do not need a partner. If you need more info on how these type of tourneys work consult the message boards. We should have your information added within a few hours to the currently registered list.
Divisions are as follows:
Men's Open & A/B -- $25 per player -- 7:45 AM check-in, play starts at 8AM
Women's Open & A/B -- $20 per player -- pool play, 9:45 AM check-in, play starts at 10:00AM
The Open & A/B players will all play together in the first round, seeded by individual points (time of entry breaking ties), divided into pools of 4 players each. After the first round the top players will advance to the Open and bottom half to the A/B. Everyone will advance to the 2nd round, but after that 2 of 4 out of each pool will be eliminated in successive pools until we are left with a final pool of 4 who play for the top 4 finishing spots. Prizes are awarded to the top 4 finishers in each division.

For this tournament only take note!!!!! --> Because of the massive popularity of this tournament every year and the limited slots available due to only having 8 courts to use, Registration is not guaranteed based on seeing your name on this list until registration is closed the Thursday night before the tournament unless you see (CONFIRMED) next to your name.
What we basically do is take down all the names of those who sign up and then see them based on points, the top 32 men and 16 women based on highest number of points will then confirmed to play. So if you make the bottom of the list with 500 points, and someone with 1000 points signs up, THEY WILL BUMP YOU TO THE WAIT LIST.
Players with enough points where they are unbumpable will earn the (CONFIRMED) next to their names right away, also anyone travelling here from out of state who needs to make reservations and is worthy enough of a player to guarantee a spot can contact us and also be guaranteed in, with maybe less points than somoene with a lot of points who signs up late, so sign up early no matter how many points you have!
IN ORDER TO PLAY IN AZBVA TOURNAMENTS YOU HAVE TO OBTAIN THE 2010 AVPNext MEMBERSHIP!!!
Men's/Women's Open is the highest level of play, A division next, and B is Novice level. For the sake of more games for the players, we combine the A and B divisions for pool play, but split them into their own divisions for playoffs after pool play.
