Arizona Volleyball will soon have this process automated, but in the meantime click here to send us an email, include all players' names, and which division you are signing up for - 4's teams include a team name!. We should have your information added within a few hours to the currently registered list.
Divisions are as follows:
Co-ed 4's Open and A/B (1 female minimum per team) -- $20 per player -- Pool Play, then split into Divisions for playoffs based on finish in pool. All teams advance out of pool into playoffs. 8:30 AM check-in, 9AM start. Will require a minimum of 6 teams to run, so if you like 4's talk your friends into signing up also.
Co-ed 2's Open -- $25 per player -- pool play, then split into Divisions for playoffs based on finish in pool. All teams advance out of pool into playoffs. 9:00 AM check-in, 9:30 AM Start.
Men's AA/A tournament -- $25 per player, $5 off if you play on Saturday -- OK, we've never done this before, but have talked about it a lot. Many of the AA and A guys have long asked for a tournament where they do not have to face Rico so early in the morning, so we're going to try putting up a sign-up page for it and see if it takes off. Basic premise is this, if your profile says you are 'AAA' you cannot play in this, anyone else from AA on down can. We'll still have cash prizes and all we would have in a AAA tourney assuming this takes off. 8:30 AM check-in, 9AM start.
IN ORDER TO PLAY IN AZBVA TOURNAMENTS YOU HAVE TO OBTAIN THE 2009 AVPNext MEMBERSHIP!!! We can get you one at the tournament but it is $5 more than doing it online.
*** Don't sign up unless you will be there. One of our FAQ's is what happens to teams that are no-shows on tournament day? Answer: Since we cannot count on them being there, they are automatically bumped to the Wait List any time they are registered for a full tournament until they have proven their attendance again at multiple future tourneys and apologized and brought us coffee. With the limited court space and very high probability that every tourney through May will be a sell-out it DEFINITELY is in your best interest to stay off the Naughty No-Show List.
