Men's Open champions Tim Higgins and Rico Becker won $300, which they promptly used as bail money. Apparently word spread about Rico "killing the competition" and Tim "murdering" balls on the way their championship finish, leading to a flurry of law enforcement activity. Either that or Tim and Big-E snuck 2 cars into the secured area while having only 1 parking pass, which in these parts triggered a SWAT-like takedown.
By the way, we're having a contest to see who can come up with the best caption for this picture, the winner will receive the very first AZBVA beach towel at the next tourney (or mailed to them if they are not there). By the way, anyone else notice the picture on the right side of that door? Don't know about you guys but that looks like the ladies room to me. Ladies, when you are wondering who peed all over your seat, blame Mike and Matt. :-)
